Mystical Angels

A mystical place- Will you please rate my poem?

Soothed and at peace, the water rushes over me. I feel happy, excited for what is yet to come. What will happen in this adventure? Will I swim with the fishies? Dance with the seaweed? I wait for the familiar whistle. And it comes, beautiful and sweet. I look below me, into the drain. A small figure, a starfish waves at me, laughing merrily with joy and happiness. She reaches her soft, feathery arm out and I clasp it, my heart racing. Instantly I am pulled into this beautiful world, where tenticles tickle and monkeys drown. The Starfish winks at me and we dive down into the colourful waters that embrace us. I am free, yet I am fearful. The lone Tikkimama lurks these waters and one must always be watchful. Those swept up into his arms will never be seen again. We whirl upon the current, playing with all friendly creatures I am wanted here, unlike the outside world, where I have no one. An endlesss day of fun and energy. But I have to go sometime The starfish skips with me back to the peeling tub, where I stand naked, shivering. She helps me back into my plane clothes, holds my hand as I climb back into bed. She tucks me in with a warm kiss, and dissapears before I have a chance to say goodbye. Thank you for all your comments!!! =)

  1. Is this poem supposed to be a funny one, because I started laughing when I read "where tentacles tickle and monkeys drown." Also "the lone Tikkimama" was pretty "outstanding". I'm sorry, I didn't really like this poem, it was just too weird.
  2. i didn't really understand the message you were trying to portray but i did like the way it was laid out, so good effort
