What does the King of Pentacles mean when in the future position regarding a relationship with an ex? I asked a question regarding my ex and how he's seeing our relationship, and when I do the past/present/future spread, i always seem to see the king of pentacles, and in other spreads, i had previously seen the 5 of swords and king of cups with outcomes. I'm thinking someone had to gain something off of us breaking up (a third party), and the king of cups representing a calm rational decision. I'm completely torn on the possible answer/outcome. Can anyone help? The king of pentacles I thought symbolizes NEW love, not a reoccurence of old? With some spreads I see the magician however, which I associate with his symbol of eternity... There's a same underlying tone with all reads and spreads, but I'm just curious about this King of Pentacles...

It can mean a person will come into your life that is very stable prosperous person.
Pentacles represent the element of earth and the King is the fiery part of earth. He is an active and successful leader. Intelligent and business minded, even if a bit heavy and dull. Though he is also methodical and is capable of attaining material gains. In looking at various different cards and the ideas attributed to them, I see nothing about love, old or new. You may want to reflect further on your question in relation to these cards.
