I had my fortune read with tarot cards and I don't know the meaning?

I had my fortune read with tarot cards, but I didn't stick around for the meaning. I got the death card, the hanged man card and the high priestess card. Does anyone know what this fortune means? Thanks.

It means nothing there just cards. Had they been shuffled in a different way you would have gotten something else totally. It's just by chance that you got those.
I know what some of them mean. The death card can mean the "death of an old way of living". The hanged man, I can't really recall much about, but I think he looks happy, but probably stifled in his current environment. The high priestess probably means that you will attain enlightment. So, your fortune is this: You are going to gain new wisdom and try a different avenue in your life and even though you have some suffering, it will not be too bad, because the hanged man is not unhappy. Hope this helps. It has been a long time, but I think I recall the tarot cards to mean this. Sounds like a good fortune.

Ok well as far as I know The death card is not bad...it means new life and new opportunities or something like that...death is transformations endings and the death of that which has outlived its usefulness...The Hanged man represents and important decision and a new chapter, it goes hand-in-hand with sacrifice and represents the sacrifice in order to gain something desired or important and The High Priestess acts as balance to opposing fortunes and represents the desire to uncover secrets and mysteries, she can also represent patience...Um so In order for a new beginning you must make sacrifices and be patient?? any big life-changing events coming up?......I don't actually buy into the whole fortune telling-thing but tarot cards are a parlor trick of mine....
