Do you believe in horoscopes and love compatibility based on astrology signs? Why/why not?

I mean it's not like there is ANY proof it's true.

1. Naah not really i'm capricorn and all I seem to attract is aquarius and me and that star sign is NOT compatible, but certain things i read in star signs have an element of truth to them.
2. Horoscopes are not real at all. They are made to make astrologers look stupid. Astrology is not about predicting the future. It is about the elements and how your energy flows with other entities. I am able to feel others energies very well thanks to astrology.
3. I do believe in it and I don't. It depends on the Astrologer you speak with. I do believe in it because ... regardless of my rational approach to life, I've come to find that yes ... every person I know is like their sign. Horoscopes themselves are usually wrong, but the Zodiac descriptions are pretty spot on. And they are not "generalized" to fit everyone. Every sign actually had very distinct qualities. Anyways, people I've known in relationships have all the same problems and good sides to their compatibility just as Astrology said they would. Like my Libra friend would always get irritated with her Gemini boyfriend's flaky behavior. Because Geminis are flaky lol. And my Sagittarius friend would always get enRAGED with his Leo girlfriends fiery temper tantrums. I could go on for hours. BUT. The reason why I also DON'T believe in it is because I've seen two signs that are completely incompatible stay together .. because they loved each other enough to work through their issues. Some Astrologers will demand that some Signs will never work together while other Astrologists will say that differences can be worked out between all signs. Horoscopes are usually bullsh@t though. =D
4. Sometimes. Virgo, typically known as critising people and i don't do that to people. But only when people tries to judge me and stuff that's when i get pissed off and tell them a piece of my mind. I'm an honest person but i don't or can't really express my emotions that well i dont know why, i just feel i may hurt someones feelings or afraid i'll lose friends, but i've come to realise that i've got nothing to lose anyway so i'm gonna be blunt with people if i wanted to.. But anywayz, it's not always accurate but it can be true too on some other days too,,

7. No person has control over when they are born. This makes astrology a bigoted concept. Just like racism and sexism, but this is bigotry base on the man made calendar. This bias is even used against fellow believers, being ignored and at the same time desired. No other type of fortune telling does this. There is also no validation of the stereotypes that astrology make. People that claim to "study" astrology do not put to use statistical evidence that could verify claims. Reason being that they won't. If one of astrology's claims was factual, we would not hear the end of it. Believers will always apply false stereotypes to all their relationships. That is most likely why they even bother with magical thinking. Non believers can't do this. No choice but to see people as they truly are over time. Prejudgment does not exist. So what is astrology's advantage?
