Are love compatibility horoscopes fake?
I know this question sounds silly, but I'm just curious. There are horoscope thingys that say whether or not a relationship will work out depending on your two signs. But none of them are true right? I mean, doesn't it all depend on the persons characteristics and personality?

- Sometimes they make no sense at all. They're more of a guideline, it depends if you're on a cusp (the blending between two signs). Also take into consideration that you also have rising signs, and everyone's different.
- Duh.
- Depends if they are just comparing sun signs then I'd say they are fake because the sun sign does is not the "deciding" factor. I think that cafeastrology has a pretty good love compatibility chart (for free) and I think it is very insightful. Here's the link: http://astro.cafeastrology.com/cgi-bin/astro/comp2f With that said, I will still date someone even if it says that we are not compatible. I think that it gives a great indication of what things we may encounter as issues, but I certainly am going to decide on my own as love is bigger than the stars : )
- Yes it does depend on the persons characteristics and personality. Sometimes astrology can reveal things about a person, but it is not always right. Everyone is so complex and the whole is more than the sum of its parts. Even observing an entire natal chart is no guarantee but can give you an indication. By no means should astrology get in the way of a good relationship. I do sometimes wonder why people ask if they are compatible with someone if they have been with that person for 6 years. By that time they should know them without the need to delve into their natal charts. I have learned that many individuals exhibit some traits totally contary to their natal charts because these are personal traits. Your instincts with people too are more normally right than looking into astrological compatibility. There may be a few cases though where astrology can help to explain some phenomenon in some individuals but it may or may not provide an answer. If it does not provide an answer we look elsewhere.
- It depends in part on the quality of the "reading". Horoscopes CAN advise, but NOT command.
- sometime I think it's not quite correct. But think back about it I think it make sense to me that there is a point that we should believe in it
