Do you think devising my own Tarot cards would be useless?
I am thinking of making my own tarot cards with the major arcana, but I was curious whether the cards should be exactly like that (the names, the number, the meanings) or could I come up with my own cards and meanings? Of course, the predictions as always would be subjective, but well, fate or luck, I would draw some card each time. Get off you science nerd-o's lol

- I think they will work just as well as store bought Tarot cards - useless.
- Yes I do.
- It would take a long time. There are many tarot decks out there already, are you sure you need to do that. I like the International Icon deck as the imagery actually relates to the meaning of the card, but I normally use psycards and totally rely on my psychic abilities. Practicing Shaman... quantum physics rocks.
- they would work better because you made them to fit your personal vibration
- Might as well just use a deck of regular playing cards. There is no such thing as magic.
- Not a problem with making your own tarot cards. You'll read into them what you'll read into them anyway.
- Well, it's worth a try isn't it? I suspect a self-made deck would be useless to someone other than yourself just because it would be completely filled with symbolism that has meaning for you. However, assuming you know a lot about tarot and use that knowledge to make your deck, I think it would work at least as well for you as any other deck.
- I think if you deviated too much from the standard Tarot meanings, names etc then it wouldn't strictly be a Tarot deck - maybe an Oracle or divination deck. I do recall seeing such a deck once and it looked quite impressive and I should think it would be very successful for you. Good luck.
- Do what you want to do with them. They are your cards after all. Then you can devise your own prediction and meanings as well. It is a test of your wisdom insight and intelligence. Doing it this way would be more of an Oracle card deck than Tarot. You might come out with something fantastic, so don't wimp out before you start.
