Tarot vs Astrology which one has more precision?

I took a few free Tarot readings online just to see if it would say anything remotely similar to what my birth chart said. I was surprised it said the same exact things my birth chart said, only with a lot more negativism and blunt honesty. I really was angry how all my flaws in character and personality were spelled out crystal clear. There seemed to be very little positive said in the reading, which I did not like and did not want to hear. It painted the picture of a Scorpio and highlighted mainly all the negative traits I have. Told me I was manipulative, had a dubious morality, tends to suffer from obsessive behaviors and stay on one task for too long, is a slow starter that always finishes what he starts, stubborn, holds grudges, has high goals and is ambitious, selfish and self-centered, jealousy, arrogant and confident( my birth chart says the same thing I really don't think I am arrogant though), Uses his charm and friendliness to hide his inner desires from those around him, is a lot more ambitious then what people perceive him to be, tends to over indulge in sexual activity and the pleasures of life( I have a strong stellium in Sagittarius), is currently in a period of standstill and inner reflection, has strong emotions and deep anger but hides them and comes off as emotionally detached to those around him. It also was a lot more in-depth personality wise then astrology I found. It told me why I act the way I do and things I am overcompensating for. It told me what my real underlying problems were and how I should solve them. It unfortunately told me a lot of things I was told by a shrink years ago as a teenager; unhealthy habits I use to cope with life that should be stopped. I probably should of listened back then instead of always being right and so incredibly stubborn. Opinions on Tarot?

1. i prefer tarot cards over astrology. i do play a lot to see whats going on in other people's lives. but i am told by some experts that i am not supposed to be touching them because bad things can happen to me and also because i dont ask for spirit's guidance. nothing weird actually ever happened to me, but i do get negative vibes in my sleep the day i use them....but i think it happens because the pictures of the cards are too intense. there was a time when i used to see the death card in my sleep a lot. but yes, cards do tell the truth. what i see is that cartomancy is even more accurate and quite straightforward.
2. For a true tarot reading you should have it done in person. Tarot goes off your body's energy and gives you more of a short term prediction of one question or a general subject you are seeking answers for. When having a tarot reading done in person, YOU shuffle the cards and your energy subconsciously places them in the deck to be drawn from. You need to cut them yourself, and depending on the spread, you draw your cards from a fan, or take the straight off the top of the deck. Astrology not only tells you about yourself based on where the planets were when you were born, but gives you a long term prediction for your overall general life path. Tarot can be very very insightful, but you should not base anything on an online reading. (If i knew how to underline that last sentence here, i totally would!!) Have it done in person sometime and ask a specific question. I think you will be surprised at the results and answers you get. In most decks of Tarot, the cards represent a sign, planet and element of astrology... and it IS all tied together. Tarot should give you more insight on a specific question or situation vs. your personality traits. Astrology is very personal and will tell you about yourself and your life path and things that influence you to be who you are.
