Mediums and tarot readings I think it's like getting mugged?

I went to a tarot reader. She was dodgy, vague, only told me about things I had told her. Said some mumbo jumbo, was really off about most of what she said. And then contradicted herself and changed tack when I corrected her. I left with a headache and an emptier wallet. Tell me anyone who's had a profound experience at tarot reading. Or who's caught a tarot reader out making up crap.

2. Doesn't sound all that different than passing the collection plate or being tithed.
3. My mum reads tarot. You should really only read your own cards, and if they read someone else's and ask for money, they're fake.
4. I've been doing readings for thirty years. I ALWAYS tell people beforehand that it's just a different and fun entertainment and NOT to take any predictions or advice from the cards seriously. I do charge a fee, since I am the paid entertainment at many parties and gatherings. If you wanted a private reading, I'd send you elsewhere, warning you that Tarot CANNOT predict the future or provide guidance for your life.
