i bought a book a bout reading atarot cards and it doesnt say anything about the devil but my mom said it is related

Your Mom has bought into the christian propaganda that anything non-christian is devil-inspired. The tarot is a tool to help you focus and understand what is going on in your life. It will not tell you anything you do not already know if you will be honest with yourself. Its usefulness is in pointing out things that perhaps you didn't really want to see in yourself and your life.

No The Tarot cards have nothing to do with the devil or with evil. If anyone uses them for evil purposes, that is the fault of the person, not of the cards. When used properly, they are a tool for the psychic to help others and are used only for good.
