How do you use tarot cards?

I am going to buy a deck and I know what each card means, but idk how to use them exactly... Does anyone know?

1. You throw them out and never think about such rubbish again

4. Throw away the major and minor arcana, along with the pages/knaves, and you have a regular poker deck.

7. The way I do it is, when Shuffling the cards I think of a question and when I feel ready I will place the amount needed and read what it means. Always cleanse the cards as well, just so you don't have the same energies for the next reading. Hope this helps :)
8. The little white book that comes with your deck should provide the common spread called the Celtic Cross. Sometimes they even come with a little spreadsheet. 9. There is really no right or wrong way to read Tarot cards. Although most people might think that Tarot cards are only used for fortune telling or Tarot card reading, Tarot has a variety of uses. They are not always used for Tarot card reading. In fact, Tarot reading is not even the intended use of the cards. The cards were originally used for games which are still played today in continental Europe.
10. There are so many different ways to use your cards. The fun part is trying them all. * Sleep with them under your pillow for three nights to help put your energy into them * Every morning, ask yourself a question and draw one card. place it on your altar as a meditation focus. Think of what that card means in relation to your question. * Try a classic layout such as the Celtic Cross Tarot Spread (probably described in the handout that came with your deck of cards) * Use them to represent people if working candle magic spells. * Use them for clarifcation on your problems. *Rather than using them to tell your future (and perhaps see some truths better left in the dark), focus on asking questions to help clarify the choices you are already determined to make.
