  5. 1. The Loch Ness Monster 2. Bigfoot
  6. Nessy!!!.... The lock nest monster....even though some believe shes real. During my speech class..we had like 20 speeches over that subject
  7. Unicorns, Dragons, Elves, Goblins, Dwarves and faries. Those are the most used. Isn't Nessy supposed to be a plesiosaur, therefore, not mythical, merely prehistoric.
  8. The most over used mythical creature is the unicorn. I don't think there is an underused mythical creature.
  9. well i ride my unicorn all the time so i guess you could say he's overused but i hardly ever roll with my giant half chicken half squirrel
  10. unicorns are definetly over used but everybody forgets about the magical powers of centaurs.... god damn i love centaurs they rock i mean can u imagine being really super smart and having the lower body of a horse?? how awesome is that

  16. ive had enough of that goddam pegasus i mean a horse that can fly... lets get serious
  17. If I meet one more 13 year old who "Totally wants to be a vampire" I'm going to start convulsing. Fairies and elves have been over used lately, too. I love Tolkien's books, but since the Lord of the Rings movies there are too many people walking around in hooded cloaks! "Metahumans" (people with super powers) are kind of pase' as well. If you're looking for a mythical creature for a story or something, try researching mythical creatures from non-European cultures. Native American tribes have some interesting mythical characters, as does Japanese culture.
  18. For overused, I'd go with unicorns and dragons. Basilisks, hydras, and dryads aren't used that often. Griffins are somewhere in between.
