4. Mystikal Arrested For Rape And Extortion Friday July 19, 2002 @ 03:30 PM Mystikal We all know that a lot of rap music is about money, b and h but rapper Mystikal has now raised the bar to… rape. Say what? Yesterday, Mystikal, along with two other men, were arrested on charges of aggravated rape and extortion. Don’t worry though, he didn’t have to stay the night in an unpleasant jail cell as he was let out yesterday afternoon on $250,000 bail. Bling, bling. The rapper allegedly threatened a female acquaintance, who he supposedly claimed had been cashing unauthorized cheques from his own bank account, saying he’d turn her in to police if she didn’t have sex with him. The police report states that Mystikal not only degraded the woman by demanding oral sex but then invited his boyz over for an intimate gang bang session. The unfortunate acquaintance was also allegedly "repeatedly threatened with prosecution… and great bodily harm" during the attack. Mystikal, whose big hit "Shake It Fast" invaded airwaves like a plague, is also a Desert Storm vet, (you remember that little run in with Iraq that very nearly became full blown war?) and father of two children. The former Master P protegee could be facing life imprisonment for the rape alone plus 15 years for the charge of extortion. The new developments in the rapper’s private life will probably affect his chosen profession, though upcoming tour dates in the U.S. have yet to be cancelled. As for his new album that's rumored to be in the works, that too could be put on hold. But if Tupac and Biggie can put albums out from beyond the grave, Mystikal can no doubt rap from the big house if he is indeed convicted. Just imagine the kind of material he’d be gathering.
