Do you believe in fortune tellers?
London, Aug 23 (ANI): A rare footage has surfaced on the Internet showing scenes from Kate Middleton's school play, in which a fortune teller tells Prince William's girlfriend: "Soon you will meet a handsome man, a rich gentleman..." The footage, filmed long before she was being tipped as a royal bride, has just been posted on the web-sharing site YouTube. Kate was 13, a pupil at St Andrew's prep school in Buckhold, near Pangbourne, Berkshire, when she took the lead role in a production of Murder in the Red Barn, reports the Daily Express. In the play, the fortune-teller takes her hand and tells her: "Soon you will meet a handsome man, a rich gentleman..." Kate says: "It is all I have ever hoped for. Will he fall in love with me?" The fortune-teller replies "Indeed he will. Then Kate asks "And marry me?" He confirms "And marry you." She then asks, "Will he take me away from here?" The fortune-teller replies "Yes, to London." Even more amazing is that her character does indeed meets her Prince Charming and his name is William. He proposes to her tenderly on bended knee. To which she replies: "Yes, it's all I've ever longed for." Kingsley Glover, who played the William in the play, tells the filmmakers: "It was great fun to do." In the play, Kate is dressed in a flowing white gown with black lace detail. (ANI) Edit: Bear, "applied guesswork" my foot! Perhaps she prayed that one day she would meet her true love? Perhaps someone prayed that a sweet Welshman would meet his true love? Perhaps, just perhaps, prayers are answered.

- Its all drivel, fortune tellers use a method called cold reading to tell you what you have unknowingly already told them.
- No when my mum was eight months pregnant with my sister she want to a very expensive Fortune teller who was supposed to very good. My mum asked if she would ever have children. The Fortune teller told her it was impossible and that she infertile and she could see her in the future adopting a boy. My mum has never had a boy and has three biological girls now and never adopted. My friends mum and her boyfriend went to one and she said they be together forever the next day they broke up because he had cheated and got the girl pregnant and now he has married another girl. I went to one when i was little and i was told i was going to die on my 5th birthday. Well im 14 years old now.
- Fortune tellers are occultists along with mediums etc. satan gives these people powers to snare people away from God our Heavenly Father. So yes they have powers but ultimately satan is the master of liars who deceives the whole world. It is better to seek your real father who is God( Father ,Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit) who provides us with everything- Light, food, warmth, nature, the stars in the heavens.... It tells us in the Bible not to consult mediums or any occult guidance like Astrology etc
- Nope! its all clever wordplay and gimmicks. a few well placed sentences and you inadvertently slip details they manipulate. friend of mine bullshitted away to one "fortune teller" and she got it epically wrong - much to their amusement.
- no
- No difference between fortune tellingReligion etc. It's all applied guess work! Do you think someone we know, went to a fortune teller and was told,'You are going to meet a short, fat ugly Welshman',and she's still coming to see me!?
- I believe that if you pay then it should be covered by the Trades Descriptions Act. No prince, money back.
- I dont think fortune tellers are occultists or satanic. I go to a very good one at least 4 times a year. She is not one of the crystal ball variety but she sees the spirits around you and can very accurately describe them as people you know who have passed on She also does not go in for the ''you will win the lottery'' or ''you will meet a tall dark handsome stranger''----she really talks about quite mundane things like health, children and worries. She told me about my other 3 children (plus Ebs) even when Doctors were telling me I would never have anymore. I like going to see her---I like knowing that loved ones are looking out for me. However my hubby hates it---When my second daughter was born she gave her a protective amulet---He would never allow her to wear it as --despite claiming it is a load of nonsense--he thought it might be ''cursed'' lol
- The fortune teller was in the play not real life. Telling a young girl she will marry a rich, handsome man in a play is a theme in countless plays. William and Kate aren't married yet so even if you believe in fortune tellers, nothing has come true yet.
- i do believe in them but i stopped using them as i prefer not to dwell on what will happen to me in the future went to a fortune teller i know is genuine what she told me came true and i seen her again and she told me a lot which i waited for and yes came true not all of it good i am scared to see one now
- I think most of the girls who went to that school ended up with a rich man. And as she was undoubtedly pretty at the time it would seem fairly certain that she would get a handsome one too. So it is not much of a surprise. I could foretell that for many of the girls in her social circles. Having said that, I did once see a lady who read cards. She told me of events that would happen to me and they did. She was very specific, gave me names of people that I did not even know myself at that time. What she said did come to be, so yes, I think there are those who can foretell the future.
- Every last one of them is a shyster.
- If you know they are practiced at reading you, your clothes, way of speaking, body language, which way your eyes point when you answer and such. With pitter patter they are very adept at telling you what you want to hear. It is entertainment of the sort that makes some people feel like they are getting attention. Nothing wrong with that as long as the person realizes it is what it is. My mind is open to the possibility but... It is a skill easily learned. That is why they teach classes in this to police, military and government people of a certain sort. I have been trained in such things and got roped into sitting in front of a fortune teller. It was good fun as since I knew how to go about it the fortune teller had no idea what to do.
