Which costume for halloween - fortune teller or medieval lady?

I have two ideas for my Halloween costume - a fortune teller and a medieval lady. Which is more age appropriate for a 13 year old? Which do you like better? If you don't like those two, please tell me of any other ideas you have. My friend is also being a fortune teller...would that be weird if we both had the same costume? We probably won't be trick-or-treating together, so does it matter?
