Bible doesn't allow the use of tarot cards? Why?
It says in the bible that we shouldn't use tarot cards but then the Bible was written long ago, so certain circumstances that happened before influenced what was written in there? If the Bible was written now instead of before, would the Bible have banned the use of tarot cards? I am a Christian and I want to someone to explain to me on why we aren't allowed to use tarot cards.

- Eliminate competition.
- The idea that you can tell the future with cards does not have to be prohibited by use of the Bible. It is just foolish.

- There were so called 'seers' in biblical times. God forbids these things because He wants us to rely and trust in Him. He is the source and only source of all good things in our lives.
- Tarot cards are of the devil...used in withcraft and supposedly talking to the dead to get your answers. God has provided you with a guidebook for life, if you choose to find your answers elsewhere then please, do not consider yourself a christian. No devil worshippers allowed.
- You have one master, not two.
- As has been said already, the purpose is based in the fact that G-d wants people to rely on Him only and always, not magic tricks or mysticism.
- Bible doesn't 'ban' the use of Tarot cards. Their use is for divination - telling the future. The Bible warns that this practice can be fatal to the soul and spirit by communicating with the demonic [Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 19:26, 31; 20:27; Deut 13:1-5; 18:9-12;1 Sam. 28:6- 8; 2 Kings 9:22; 21:1-6; 17:12-18; 23:24-27;1 Chron 10:13, 14; 2 Chron.33:1-6; 8:6,7; Isaiah 3:1-3; 8:19, 20; 44:24, 25; 47:9-15; Jeremiah 14:14; 27:9; 29:8; Ezekiel 13:6-9, 23:32; Micah 3:6-12; Zechariah 10:2; Acts 13:6-11; 16:16-19].
- Witchcraft and sorcery is forbidden . Peace
