Mystical, magical, medieval, unique or cool names for an island?

Yeah. I need some names for an island I created. Does anyone know some good names? The island I created is in the shape of a crescent. Half of its bright and sunny and other half is dark, unexplored and mysterious. I need a good name for it! Something cool and unique, cuz the best I can come up with is Crescent Island. :) Will credit you in bibliography.

1. Janus Island. After the Roman God of duality and change. (Yes, January is named after him.) Scimitar Island. Well, it's shaped like one, but hackneyed, I know. Sabit. I ran crescent through a Translator for english - malay and I thought it sounded kinda cool. Torc. A celtic neckring. Ouroborus. Masonic symbol of a serpent swallowing it's tail. Uruz. An Elder Futhark rune in the (rough) shape of an upside down U. Secundus. A Roman given name which means 'second' in latin. The heraldic symbol for a second son is a crescent shape. (convoluted, yes. lol) Well, that should give you some ideas.
