What so "miraculous" about Divine healing?

Gods creation is perfect. He did not make us sickly or twisted up and crippled. It takes a lot of spiritual energy to draw "the bow" into such unnatural position. It only takes the Name of Jesus Christ to release the bowstring. What so miraculous about that?

  1. It's psychosomatic- that boy needs therapy. Clearly, Divine healing doesn't help amputees.
  2. were perfect? people arnt born sickly or crippled?PS buddist objectivist- that song kicks ass
  3. For your information, if you are american and living in america, you need to step out of your world to see that divine healings happen in any religion - theistic taoism, buddhism, hinduism, islam, judaism, sikhism.
  4. Grace and Peace from God and Son. The impotent man, healed of a lengthy infirmity, is - not helped into troubled water - healed with seven grace words - also told to sin (law) no more His healer also said: Behold - I cast out devils - I do cures to day and to morrow - the third day I shall be perfected So healer was not yet perfected while - devils conscious - ills/cures conscious Perhaps - perfected doesn't give place to devils nor to ills/cures; Which is to say pure grace does not give place to law. Perhaps a more excellent way is neither broad nor narrow minded. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
  5. When we call the name of Jesus we rely upon the power and authority of Jesus. Here are some examples: (1) Jesus said, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name… "(Matthew 28:18-19). (2) The Sanhedrin council asked Peter and John, in reference to the lame man's healing, "By what power, or by what name have ye done this?" (Acts 4:7). Peter answered, "By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth" (Acts 4:10). (3) The Lord promised, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14). God makes all His power and authority available to us when we invoke His name in faith (Acts 3:6, 16)
