nope, i don't think there is any truth to a lot of it. Just very gullable people, lucky guesses, cold reading ,ect..
No. Psychic readings are usually the result of 'cold reading' - a technique whereby the supposed psychic can find out information about you without you realizing.

Well telekinesis has been proven to be something true by many people. Mind reading is definitely true. And so is hypnosis.

You shouldn't believe in it 100%. some might be true, but it could be mere guesses.
There are good & bad psychics...I have always been very intuitive & I have given readings to people on here & been told I was very accurate..I have been to one who is very accurtate..I think some people are intutivie & some aren't so it is a gift & just like one person can sing like Whitney Houston & another sounds horrible we all have different levels to our gifts & talents.
I went to a psychic once and what she told me freaked me out....I was 20.....I weighed 105 lbs and she told me I was pregnant and I would have a girl on June 15th........I knew I was pregnant(she didn't know it at the time) but I didn't know what I was going to have....and I ended up having a girl on June 15th. She also told me I was going to buy a house sooner than i thought....and that it would have a porch swing on the front porch.....a week later a house came up for sell and I ended up buying it three days later...it had a swing on the front porch. There were other things she told me also that was spot on..she mentioned specific people and events.
There is truth in most things. Psychic abilities, almost all people have it, some just develop it more than others, and there are some people who pose as psychics who just are more able to read others than some, most use body language, facial expressions,etc. to tell people what they want to hear. True psychics are able to predict events that will happen, such as unexpected events. Some people keep up with current events and predict what they think will happen it conditions keep as they are. usually by past events. when people are prone to suggestions, they think what another person tells them will happen. But the person who is questioning the things for the future, when a suggestion is made, actually make it happen by constantly thinking about it. so therefore they think the psychic was right. such as cause and effect. Things have to be brought forth in thought form, before they can be made to materialized. I hope I have help to answer your question. Good luck.

Yes--the story is too long to tell but suffice that a psychic gave me a perfect message from my uncle and knew his initials (autowriting), message from my grandmother with a typical quote and her type hug, used my father's first name in a message from my grandmother, told someone I sent to her that I "got my wish" after I had just met my wife and was considering marriage. This woman knew nothing about me and was dead-on regarding what she said. I am a true believer in spirits and guides from these 2 sessions. NOT LUCKY GUESSES. Find someone at a spiritualist church to give you a reading.
