How do you become a fortune teller?

so my friends party is carnival themed and she wants me to be a fortune teller. I know what to do like the card thing and crystal ball and palm reading but HOW do i do that stuff and she wants it kinda funny so how would i change it to be funnier!!

2. just make stuff up based on how the person seems...that's what the 'real' ones do.........plenty of room for humor. make some silly wrong guesses and such.
3. There is an excellent article on how mind readers, psychics, and fortune tellers pull of the scam on Quackwatch.com. Just put psychic readings into the search box. Instead of telling your friends serious stuff about their future, think of things you already know about them and change them into something really funny. For example, if your friend has a crush on a particular guy, you could look at her palm, and point out the "love line" and make up a story about how you see it intersecting with one showing she will meet a special guy. Draw it out adding a little more detail until she realizes you are describing her crush. Then turn the description towards a guy who she would never date in a million years or a nerdy celebrity. Sounds like a fun party!
4. im a gifted fortune teller. i read future through cards. and i guess you should know whats the real purpose of doing that. and it's not easy to be a fortune teller. and having a gift of that is not for fooling around. i might have you in my dreams now. :)

7. the good ones use the full cold reading method, search this online for an explanation, but most just make guesses based on what they seem like. the difference is that in cold reading they make the decisions based on much wider criteria, and they rely somewhat on the subjects reaction to a prediction, emphasizing things that the subject comfirms with his/her body language, facial expression, ect to add humor depends on your friends' sense of humor. just add a few failed funny predictions or something like that. or some funny card meanings. that sort of thing
