What is the mystical signifigance of the number 555.?

I have made a very strange correlation to this number and would like to know what it means. The washinton monument is 555 feet tall supposedly for mystical reasons, does anybody know why?

2. Never heard of that. I like the number 5. http://freemasonry.bcy.ca/symbolism/numbers.html I think that the masons were into Alchemy and the Egyptian religions. But I really don't know that much about them, except that their chicken dinners are the best. I dated a guy once that was a Mason, but I never knew anything about his lodge. It is some sort of secret society.
3. It's the same exact mystical significance as 472, or 593, or 793. Get it?

6. I don't know what the combination 555 could possibly represent, but I do know that 5 is symbolic of many things. For example, 5 is the number of balance, and the numerical symbol of a human being (a human forms a five-pointed star shaped when his/her legs and arms are stretched out, as in DaVinci's Vitruvian Man.) 5 is also symbolic of perfection, noticed by the Mayan civilzation (possibly related to the five digits of the hand.) 5 hours of prayer, 5 senses, and 5 keys to the mysteries of the Qu`ran. Pancha is the number 5 in the Yantric system, and it stands for the fice functions of the Divine, namely creation, preservation, destruction, obscuration, and liberation. There are also 5 layers or bodies of Man: physical, vital, astral, wisdom, and bliss. That's what I can tell you about 5 itself, but 555... don't know the significance of that.
