- I always try to pick names that are unique and not well known. I also like name that do not label or classify a person. I read an employment article which stated employers can tell who they want to talk to based upon there name. I know this might sound weird but think about it. Names like Tamika, Shaniqa, or Latonya are generally African American names. Names like Michelle, Mary or Lisa are Caucasian names. My name is Anjanette. My parents named me after an female movie star named Anjanette Coleman. I always get the same response when people hear my name...it is very unique, they never heard it before. I am 32 yrs. old and I have only met one Anjanette in my life. So when I named my children I applied the same philosophy. My daughters' name is Arielle...like the little mermaid but I added the le at the end. Her nickname is "elle" which in French means she or female. I try to put meaning behind my kids names. Oh by the way my sons name is Carl Joseph. Long huh? We call him CJ for short. He is named after my husband and his grandfather. So put some creativity behind the meaning. I loved being the only Anjanette in school. I had friends who could not say the same. There was always another Lisa, or Karin or Stephanie or Larry or Michael. Get my point!
- the first 4 are Japanese and the others are Spanish/German. Yuki (snow) Yume (dream) Shira (white) Inju (Ribbon) Linda (not lin-dah leen-dah) (pretty, beautiful) Rosa (Rose) I aggree with the lady above me! add some creativity to your name! Like you could put Shira Yuki Inju as a whole name. Or ShiraYuki Inju as a full name! make it something none has ever heard of before!

Helianthose... comes from two Greek word Helios meaning sun and anthos meaning flower in short sunflower. Electra...... she avenged Agamemnon's murder through Orestes her bother (Greek tragedy). - Let it be one that imports to the world, one which acts, not one that merely is, which may be far too passive nowadays than was the case in the ages that came before -- allow that it reflects the new and might of the Feminine principle, as peculiar to Nature, which now is to take in and give out, as inflows, outflows just as does Earth do and is -- that which which compliments the want of Nature and our Parent Home, the physical universe. Let it be somewhat quality of Nature, possibly quantifiable as well, which reality is inevitable in any case, and which evidences resonance through which Nature may import its own essence; thus allow a name proximal to that esteem. Names are no willy nilly thing; they are embodiments of poignant frequencies and signatures that proceed from out of the very Ether. Like numbers, names (or words) 'are' possessed of certain powers. For when one ascribes a name to a given person or thing, one is indeed receiving of what that person or thing resonates and undertakes to make known, which otherwise would have no name and vehicle. Thus might they be chosen carefully. Reflection becomes more involved, when it is considered that the idea of an expression of a Law, exactly, by numbers and words frequencies clearly defining a system, is not the accident or fluke in language that conveys it but is in truth a transcription of both thought and feeling, drawn from reflection and imagination, and thus of its very essence and does yield a refection of its primary organic construction when first configured from out of the higher planes well above the physical'.

- Lola, the other day I overheard a man telling this other man his baby's name and I was shocked in a good way. It's so nice and often heard but not as a name. It was HONESTY. Isn't that pretty so I thought if I ever have another little girl I will either call her HONESTY OR MYSTERY. I thought of MYSTERY on my own but the name HONESTY gave me the idea. Cool huh.
