Would some people be willing to buy voodoo spells?
I might be starting a business and advertising the sale of voodoo spells, psychic readings, tarot cards, wicca spells, ouija board readings, etc first on the internet and then via local ads. Is the income for paranormal fun/entertainment a good one?

- You could probably do well, there are a lot of gullible idiots out there. I do my own spells.
- No, not anymore. Go back forty, fifty years. I wouldn't encourage selling junk anyday, much less buy it.
- Yes. There is always a market for that.
- i live in an area where that stuff sells well...you would do just fine, believe me. people on this board have asked questions looking for **real** psychics. hang around long enough you'll be able to direct them to your site.
- About as much as I would be willing to buy poo poo smells. lmao
- Do they work? and have the desired effect?
- Please don't advertise "Wicca spells". Wicca is a religion. Witchcraft is the magical practice most often associated with spell casting. Not all Wiccans are witches. And not all witches are Wiccans. Wait, and you're promoting this stuff as "paranormal fun/entertainment"? I would say you need to find a different business venture, one that you have a good understanding of the product you are representing. There is enough confusion and mistunderstanding about Wiccans, witches, spells, tarot, psychics, ouija, etc. out there as it is. Edit: Having to make a legal disclaimer for the idiots is a tad different than promoting a religion as "paranormal fun/entertainment".
- There's certainly a lot of people trying it, so I have to presume at least some of them are making good money. Unfortunately, its also been my experience that people who do best generally are the most sensational and least honest, making unrealistic promises and using buzzwords (like "Wicca spells") that attract the guilible but don't even make sense to serious practitioners.
- Looks like you're looking at several different issues here. Readings are different from spells. & different Ethics are involved. With spells, there'll always be those looking for short cuts - wanting a quick fix buying something rather than making it themselves. But having refused to do that for someone once, I can say that things can rabidly get ugly. Weather there's enough trade to make a living of to supplement your income I'm not sure. Not casting dispersions on those who do, but I (personally) have to seriously wonder of the ethics of those involved. It's basically living on the gullibility or laziness of others - unless you cater it towards the Comedy element & make joke spells. .
- excuse me- as a Wiccan i take slight offense to my religion being classed as "paranormal fun/entertainment" you seem a tad confused about your market. personally id say - dont give up the day job - at least ubtill you have done some proper research into what you propose to sell!
- i can help
- hi, i realize all the ethics involved in this, but i just wanted to point out that if he plans on selling these sorts of things, he is actually REQUIRED by law to state that it is just for fun/entertainment. i was on ebay looking at jewelery and of course you type in "jewelery" and all the "haunted" stuff comes up. (try it one time), so of course you click one one of those, and all the "paranormal" stuff comes up. anything that said wicca, or voodoo or anything like that SOMEWHERE on the page said something about "according to law i must state this item is for entertainment purposes only", so i looked into it just out of curiosity, and yeah, it is actually law that somewhere anyone selling anything remotely pertaining to witchcraft or voodoo or anything has to state somewhere that it is for entertainment only. like, please, do not get me wrong here, i completly understand all the moral bits and pieces of this, and you are all right for having them. i have them too. its just that you go looking for any info about spell casting or witchcraft and you come across a million sites selling spells and stuff. they all say "for fun/entertainment purposes only". so he may not have meant it to be offensive, perhaps he already looked into it and was just using the term because law would require him to if he were to actually put all this up for sale.
- Yes, if they believe that the spells would help them either with problematic situations, and from others who want to do them harm.Voodu is often practiced in Haiti as well as other countries
