New media research degree, photography and human energy, help?

I've picked a tough one, but my research focuses on how photography can address spiritual human energy & interconnectedness, such as: healing energy; sense of someone who isn't present; how we are all part of a sea of energy and information gets exchanged without us even speaking! (Zero-point field in Quantum theory). I'm having toruble piecing it all together.. any ideas would be appreciated.

1. We are not all part of a sea of energy that allows us to exchange information without speaking. That is new-age metaphysical nonsense and has nothing to do with quantum theory. And I should know, as I picked an even more tough research focus... quantum information physics. So my advice is to stop thinking we are all linked by the 'zero-point field', as that concept really isn't as mystical as you think it is.
