Do you really think that people match based on their horoscopes?
Basically, do you really believe that a person's horoscope says something about them? Or that it's accurate for the most part? Personally, I have some doubts about that. I know that they have different horoscopes in China for instance. So I am not sure if those horoscopes even contradict our horoscopes in terms of what they predict or say.

- I don't believe horoscopes--but I think sun signs are accurate (aquarius, leo, blah blah blah) I think it'd make scientific sense that the time of year that a person is born would affect their personality. Who knows.
- I am a virgo and i am not organized at all. My husband is a Libra. we are supposed to be very incompatible, but have been married for 11 years problem free. I don't think there is a lot of fact to it. however... In the chinese atrology chart i am a monkey and actually do have the personality traits that go along with monkey.
- No you silly goose.
- Yes.
- Not sun sign alone if that's what you mean. Sun signs are really general, but so far my birth chart is scarily accurate. I also think sun sign compatibility is balls.
- I did notice that one particular weakness in my chart was perfectly predicted in the Chinese horoscope as well, so I am a believer. Natal Charts, when done well, are accurate about a person's life. That means not just casting the planets and degrees, but interpreting it with balance. The computer-generated interpretations don't take into consideration that great synthesis of the chart, recognizing what is of overwhelming importance and what is not. The best thing is to get your planets cast by computer, but learn the interpretation for yourself. Study the meaning of each House, the meaning of each planet and sign and what it means to be in that sign. Then find out what aspects do and what aspects, good or difficult, exist in your chart, and how that might influence your life in those areas. Last of all, don't ever predict anything for yourself on the basis of the chart without seeing that tendency repeated throughout the chart. Don't fall prey to the mistake of taking a single isolated placement and imagining that it will literally come true. If the rest of the chart seems to agree, then yes, otherwise, no.
- Non believers won't stereotype others based on a calendar. We have no choice but to see people as the truly are. By communication with each other. Chances are since there is no evidence for the stereotyping astrology must make, the believers are going to get it wrong. So where is the advantage of using astrology on others? Astrology restricts far better than it predicts. "What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof." – Christopher Hitchens
