Do fundamental Christians in the USA agree that free health care for the poor is Christian and if not why?

God in God's infinite wisdom and perfection choose to come amongst his human creation as a member of the poor peasant class. Not the wealthy or powerful or political classes. Christ encouraged everyone one of us here, then and now to have an unmediated physical and spiritual relationship with God and each other. Christ opposed in principle any form of earthly hierarchy including politics and traditions linked to judgment that divides and deprives people on many levels. Christ asserted that the kingdom of God is within and without and that we must become as children again to experience it and he maintained he is here for anybody or more to the point is here for the nobodies...the poor..the destitute and those with no hope. Christ freely healed anyone.. sinner or virtuous..with his infallible divinity...subject to no laws made amongst men and Christ healed for FREE! Therefore I am confused at the attitude of certain fundamental christians who currently in the USA through their lobbying and protests who are clearly acting more like satan in their support of rejecting a health bill to enhance health-care for those who need it most. Please no quotes form anyone other than Christ and remember this:Is it not better not to render unto Caesar and rather render unto your brother and sister for surely the reward will be greater than what can ever be transient here in the world of poverty and death. Can you state if you are Christians please. So far you all appear mean spirited, worldy and dying slowly of the incipient cancer that will leak form your closed minds that are sinking into politicalism that wont matter one day for you like I will be not here in this place. If you are not Christians then I accept your answers however a true Christians laughs at this world of illusion linked to politics and money and British Empire onday you'll face your own words believe me but in the meantime your blocked. Yetis endure cold:So what your implying is that Christ by healing for free is an evil communist? What is wrong with seeking the reward after the living death you support here fool!! It is times like this when I feel proud to be born here in the UK even though I reject countries as definitions of my consciousness which I am glad to say is Universal. How petty. How mean and how unchristian some of you sound. You reveal your inner truth by what you state. You will surely die here and remain here as dust and atoms upon the wind with only your own memories to sustain you in the devils playground where you dwell in darkness and spiritual destitution.SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR HOUSE.

  1. it is a right and has, is a political issue and has nothing to do with religion in the way of the vote.
  2. Okay. I'm not a Christian, but "free healthcare" is an oxymoron. It still has to be paid for by somebody, even though it could be received for free.
  3. Jesus Christ is a revolutionary Communist
  4. Free health care is communist, which is evil, unless it is Benny Hinn knocking you upside the head, then it is okay
  5. Nothing is free. USA wants to provide insurance companies money. Not heath care.
  6. There is no such thing as free health care. They'll just use taxes and take money away from programs that are already suffering. The government runs Indian Health Services (IHS). Look at the crap they have for healthcare. Due to that, i question the government's ability to manage healthcare. The VA has problems, too. This isn't a religious issue. I'd love it if we could find a way to support it, along with medicare, medicaid, IHS and the VA, but I don't think how they plan to do it is the way to go.
  7. it is compassionate, and therefore in keeping with christian love. However it has never functioned adequately, and is too economically stressful. We believe that what works, is best. We also don't want government run healthcare. It would be unchristian to allow the government to decide who gets what treatment.
  8. I would be in favor of it but... Can you really trust our government to manage our health care?
  9. The poor can get free health care now. We are taught to take care of the less fortunate and the elderly not to take advantage.
  10. Eve was the first to fall excluding Revelation. Eve's sin doomed all of mankind just as Pandora.
  11. you know its amazing how quick fundies forget the lessons of helping those who cannot help themselves when it means money from their pockets.
  12. YES
  13. i only read the top question .. if your poor hard lines... die .. survival of the fittest... they are a drain on our tax.. let them die.. and while were on the subject old people shot be shot when they cant fend for there self. .
  14. Free health care for the poor is Christian and we have it today. Medicaid and Medicare both cover the poor and the disabled. When the poor go to the emergency room of a hospital, they are not rejected. Every state has provision for the poor and many state hospitals are strictly for the poor. The Health Care plan is a big deal by democrats because medicaid and medicare are costing the government too much. The government wants to use money for other things instead of helping the poor with doctors and medicines. The cost of doctors, hospitals and medication must come down. There are too many ways to abuse the system and Health Care needs reform, but to give free health care to everyone is not feasible, practical or smart. In America, we would get third world hospitals and doctors instead the best that the world has to offer. Restoring honor, loyalty, ethics and goodness in America will change the hearts of mankind and this is what we need most. We need a change of heart. In these latter days, both the wheat and the tares increase in number and in intensity. We can easily see evil increasing because it is broadcast on the News, but goodness is beginning to be demanded by those who crave it.
  15. Jesus wasn't poor, he was a working man. Health care does more harm than good. The government pay hospitals and other medical institutes to care for people. The hospitals then raise the prices to make more money. This means that if someone falls through the cracks of the health care program, they cannot afford to pay the bills and then go untreated. Jesus said to do good in His name, if we make a free health care program, we give the money but God does not get the credit, the government does. I am all for charity, but I am going to pay for it, I'd like to be able to do it myself. Salvation Army once turned down government money, because they said that they did not need it and that it would hurt the charitable spirit of the people. I want to be able to tell people why I am giving money to them. In Acts when the couple that lied about their gift to their fellow believers, they were told that they did not have to give their money as it was theirs to do with as they pleased, this is private ownership. The Lord loves a cheerful giver, not someone who is forced to give by the government.
