1. The sacraments are visible signs that confirm our membership in the body of Christ and bring us closer to him through their action of consecration, spiritual nourishment, healing, reconciliation and unity. 2. A basic principle of christian morality is that each person ought to act in accord with the dignity of his or her own nature. As human beings, we are called to act like human beings. This includes being neighbor to our fellow human beings. 3. Moral obligation is a moral force, not a physical or coercive force or compulsion. The moral force of the moral obligation comes from the human value that it protects. Although it is still left to the free will of persons to obey or not to obey the moral obligation to do good, it is only when one obeys the moral obligation to do good that one becomes his or her true and genuine self. 4. The Ten commandments are fundamental moral precepts; yet, they are the minimum requirements that a person must do or avoid doing. Jesus told his followers not to disregard or forget these commandments, but to go beyond them to fulfill the great commandment of love.

  1. Sounds like theology, which means that you can add any words you like, in any order, and any language, and have no effect on the present meaning. Except, of course, if you actually added something meaningful to your statements, in which case the meaning, of course would increase from zero to something greater.
  2. Love God with all your heart and soul and love your neighbor. What more is there to say than that?
