Mystical Angels

Do words really have mystical powers or only inspiring or discouraging effects?

So much about religion is based on words and devotees even seem to believe that some words have magical properties. They can have either negative effects, such as curses, or positive effects such as blessings. We all know that words can be used to insult and discourage or inspire and encourage regarding the human psyche. For us, words carry meaning. But how can words, which are created and changed by man in the first place, have any effect on the universe or mystic ways? When I started learning other languages, I also discovered that what is considered a curse in one language is deemed as a normal word in an other. Even words in our own language, that have become so vulgarized, find their root origins in Old English from deeper Germanic roots. Taking God's name in vain also seems to have fallen victim to uttered superstition. Should we really believe that words have positive and negative mystical powers?

1. If you are speaking of the word of God then I would say yes, it has a mystical power. As the Apostle Paul said in Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
2. There’s the concept of conservation of power. If you speak it should happen, so speak seldom and speak true. Giving words and the concepts behind them more power. Not so long ago a common curse was “Gods Bread!” which would be the same as saying “Jesus!” same concept ergo same power if used for magick or prayer. Get it? Blessed Be!

4. No. No real mystical powers. Just apparent powers sometimes - in the eyes of those who believe in mystical powers. Words can be either inspiring or discouraging, however.

Somehow people in many ways believe that they are supernatural in someways... like claiming they can see dead things animals/humans etc., control weather , and see into the future.Many scientists are looking through these theorys and not really suceeding in my opinion it would be awesome if they were proved to be true, it's wonderful for people to believe they are special in such ways! :)
