What creative pursuits do you associate with the Fool card in tarot?
I asked the tarot in which direction my creative talents lie, and I drew the Fool card from the Major Arcana. Everything I've read suggests this is a highly creative card, associated with humour and a child-like attitude. However, is it actually pointing me in a particular direction as to which creative path to pursue?

- TarotCards are used in WitchCraft. The Bible says that witchcraft is a sin. I worked with a guy who was a wiccan priest and one day I came to work and he was not there. Then I heard that he was found dead in his car with a self-inflicted gunshot in his mouth. When you fool around with witchcraft, you are flirting with the devil and playing with fire. How can you take fire into your bosom and not get burned? You need to give your heart to JESUS before it's too late.
- I've used Tarot cards before, and nothing is written in stone. You should explore your strengths in certain talents and decide for yourself. If you believe in them, I suggest working towards your talents and then trying again later on. And for the answer above mine, Tarot cards can be used if you are Agnostic or Atheist, no religion is set upon it. Let her practice what she wishes. And besides, if you knew anything about Paganism you'd know that they don't even believe in the devil.
- If you asked the question stated as in your question ("in which direction [does] my creative talents lie?") then I would say, No, the Tarot is nudging you to explore your options for yourself with an open-ness and child-like curiosity. I would say you would need to do a spread with choices to gain further insight about two or three particular possible paths to pursue, and this would take more than one card. However, getting the Fool for that answer, I'd just explore my options for a little while.
- Getting the Fool means that you already know the answer. You just have to make the leap into the unknown. But the Fool is all about seeing the world with new eyes. Once you start your journey, your feet will tell you where to go. Start with Comedy and Magic, since the Fool is both trickster and Clown and the principles that underlie these skills enrich any talent.
- Tarot decks vary, but the fool is usually about walking without watching where you are going. This can mean a leap of faith or trusting your gut feelings. It can also be about denial. I doubt very much that this card in this setting answers the question that you asked in the way that you had hoped. You might try doing a larger layout (and possibly with a slightly different question). Or it might be that your reading is suggesting that you try one or two creative pursuits at random and see how you feel about them.
- The Fool indicates now is the time to start something new- to make the "leap of faith." It really doesn't say which direction to go. The Fool signifies beginnings, to try and read into it a particular beginning is reading too much into the card. It can also be coaching you to forget about the past, forget it all, and start fresh. Which direction you jump is entirely up to you. Do rely on the cards for such an important decision.
- Hello SeaPearl The Fool - what a positive card to get. As you pulled the card, only you can really answer the absolute direction that you should take. He is one of chance, out of the blue opportunities - so the pathway that you are to take may not yet have appeared to you. He is also a card that insists that we do not fall prey to our egos & blindly go where we desire - but instead listen to our instincts before jumping in.
