I need a money and family advice... im in a lot of debt right now, and i want to know when it'll all be behind me...as well..my family is a little too hard on me, they treat me like a 12 yr old (im 21) most of the times...and have all these demands that only a kid would have. How can i overcome that and have more freedom? My stats are: im 21, born in july of '86, im a cancer, live in toronto...

2. Ok, so I'm guessing you're talking about credit card debt, and I'm also guessing you live at home with your parents. Your debt will be behind you when you make a concerted effort to pay it off. If you don't have a job, get one. If you have one, get another one. Pay as much as you can toward your debt. The more you pay, the faster your debt will be behind you. As for your family, usually when a 21 year old is in a lot of debt, it's because the credit cards are used to buy non-essential items. If you're in debt because you bought a lot of crap, you've proven to your family that you can't be responsible. And being treated like an adult is something that comes with being responsible and acting like an adult. My guess is that if you pay off your debt and start contributing to your family, you will earn their respect and they'll no longer treat you like a child.
