1. Maybe they have the intellectuality to know how to deceive people that they are psychic.
2. Water signs are not always the most intuitive.They are the most emotional. Any sign Can be psychic. Where the planets are placed in a persons chart determines psychic ability. Especially If certain planets are angular.The sun sign alone does not. God Bless.

4. Strong Moon in water signs give psychic abilities especially in 12th house. You can't just rely on the water signs. Moon in fire also gives strong intuition. Urnus rules air signs and that planet is a strong indicator for the occult, intuition, clairvoyance. Aries
5. 1)Because you are sadly mistaken if you think that water signs are the only ones with intuition...they USE it the most, but it doesn't mean the rest of us don't have intuition. For example, while Capricorn is an earth sign, it still has a fish tail. 2) You have to look at the chart entirely...I have plenty of water signs and in the right places (I heard mars in the 12th house and mercury)in the 8th house are highly intuitive places...I have both) 3) If you read up on most astrology books, they credit air signs with the ability to be intuitive, Libra the most (check out Parker's Astology)...maybe that's why it's easy for Libra's to be as manipulative as a Cancer or Scorpio when he or she pleases. They also equate intuition to the fire signs as well. Anybody can sense something...either you chose to ignore or listen
6. Water signs are the most intuitive but question themselves and have difficulty seeing their strengths, so they rarely promote themselves as psychics. Air signs are deductive and logical and are easy to believe so they use their social and logical gifts to enforce themselves as psychics. Some can get so carried away, they actually believe they are psychic and not just clever. People who promote themselves as psychics are generally either lying or have very weak powers. A true psychic is very detached from the world so anyone who charges money or wants fame in return for their "powers" is not a real psychic. Most people who have forms of "psychic power" don't even realize it but recognize their interest in others and usually become therapists or other kinds of psychologists. Promoted psychics are like magicians; it's all just a trick. You'll notice that the people who can accurately guess the reasons behind peoples words or actions, or the people who can tell when someones faking are usually water signs. They know how people work and apply the way they act to others. They can't see the future or anything, but no one has been proven to, they are just the most intuitive and in touch to others feelings. The main traits that define an Air sign are intellectual, social, and optimistic. They are good at inferring problems based on facts and evidence and are good at telling people what they want to hear. They also would make good therapists, especially Aquarius, the most worldly of the Air signs. Edit: this is just the signs in general, not in any particular planet or house.
