  1. _|_ (-.-) _|_ i don't need healing.
  2. yes
  3. I don't pray because I loses energy and it could be use to cure me.
  4. What the hell why not. Hey Olga is that the only picture you got? No glamor shots then?
  5. Don't pray for me, I'd prefer to visit a doctor.
  6. People have prayed for me even though I've specifically told them not to. It pisses my the f*ck off.
  7. I'm happy with modern medicine, thanks.
  8. I would rather you see reason at the expense of my health. Because either way, praying isn't going to do anything about the problem. Medicine has a better chance at helping.
  9. Don't need healing. I'm not sick ether because I got my flu shot.
  10. Yes, of course. God works miracles
  11. Should doctors cure sick theists even though they reject science?
  12. I prefer medicine over prayer, thanks.
  13. Im sure with the bones you got, you take advil like a mfer...
  14. Yes I do. Even if they don't want me to pray for them, there's nothing wrong with doing so.
  15. well why wouldend we... they are human beings like all of us. you always ask these random ass questions. its kinda funny
  16. If a believer rejects medication, does that mean the medication no longer works?
  17. no
  18. Yes because even is they don't want it, they may need it someday.
  19. I would like to see someone try to heal cystic fibrosis with prayer. I find that taking my medication is what keeps me alive, not praying to some invisible dude.
  20. yes i do. atheist.
  21. I'd pray for them, unless they would specifically ask me not to. I've never thought to ask if it would bother them, it doesn't really come up in conversation. Just by knowing my friends, not sure about other atheists, they'd appreciate the gesture, since they know what it means to me, even if they think it won't help. More likely than not, I can't really help them get better any other way, so it's my way of helping. Especially if for some reason, I am unable to help them in other ways (cooking, cleaning, taking them to the doctor etc.)
  22. Yes. I am an equal opportunity pray-er.
  23. I pray for my atheist friends the same way I do anyone else. They have never said to not pray for them or something like that...I would find it weird if they did. I don't tell them to not keep me in their thoughts or that I only want prayer. That would just be immature if we didn't have enough respect for each other to do those things. (Wow, do you seriously think ALL theists reject science? The OP didn't say that, someone else. I'm a theist, I see doctors, do regular medical stuff, but I don't see harm in praying too.)
  24. NO. I call a doctor.
