How many Christians have been dabbling in the occult, not known for sure that it is against God to do so?

Has anyone had problems since playing with a Ouija board? If you have you need to email me so I can help you get free of the demons that came on you from your activities in that. Many Christians have not even ever had any teaching about not going to a fortune teller/psychic fair to have someone read their palm or tell their fortune. Some have never known that Ouija boards are not just parlor games. It is readily sold in toy stores, and made by Milton Bradley. Tarot card decks are sold in joke shops like they are harmless. In truth they are harmful. All these things are dangerous to people. But making them common place causes unsuspecting people to believe contrary to that fact. Tea leaf reading is a part of all these demonic practices. The devil banks on the fact that not a whole lot is known about these things to the average Christian. They do not know that paranormal has nothing to do with the Lord God. How do I know this? Because once I was an Episcopalian and I did not know any of these things were bad. And I went to a fortune teller with my sister and her friend. I even had a friend in the Episcopal church that believed she had been reincarnated. I was into that stuff too, because I did not know better. My Mother thought all this stuff was harmless. We found out better later on in life, but the problems we suffered were in direct line with our dabbling. We did not have to suffer these things IF we had had proper teaching. This is why I am telling you to be careful, not to dabble. God delivered me from the curses that came on me. He set me free from the demons that got on me and nearly wrecked my life. If Jesus had not set me free, I do not know where I would be now. But God in His mercy sent to me a woman who knew deliverance and she worked with me over a years time getting me free from the fears, doubts, and worries. I bless her for being obedient to the Lord to help others. She is in heaven now. I am free by the blood of Jesus and His name. I am no longer an Episcopalian and no longer an ignorant Christian. I have been taught to help others be free from the evils of the devil. God is not a she. I am sorry for those who mock anything and everything in lieu of getting the help they need. I forgive you for being so judgmental. By what authority do I say these things I say them by the authority of Jesus Christ my Savior. I do not answer to your mocking nor jeering. I do not need your book Janemarie I already know about these things. but thanks. Beziah- you are correct there are no such things as ghosts and I never said there were. What they are really are demons. I guess you did not think I knew that. God gives me wisdom and has since I got Spirit filled.

7. That's interesting, I've talked with God many times and She never said anything about Ouija boards - granted, I've never really been into using them. And for really, if She were against psychic powers, then why would She have given us that intuitive voice that tells us about the ways of the world? Come to think of it, aren't you (isn't one) going against God to not use the gifts She gave us?

9. Could you be more specific about what ill effects you suffered from these actions? Also, how does your once being Episcopal qualify you to say that these things are all bad? I don't understand.

14. ((((Cami)))) My darling, I know all too well the perils of playing with occultic things. I may share my own personal story with you via a personal E-mail. But basically, here is my story... I was born and raised in a Christian home by my loving Mother. When I was a teenager, I rebelled harshly. I was deeply into heavy metal music. Not to say that there is anything wrong with liking secular or metal music, necessarily. But I got too involved in it. I think I worshiped and idolized bands that were anti-Christian and anti-God. I got into reading about the occult. I used to own the Necronomicon, and some other evil books that I am ashamed to even mention here. I studied about witchcraft and magic. I opened doors that were never meant to be opened. When I was around 23 years old, I became born again. I threw away all occult objects I owned. I burned the nefarious book collection I had. I sold my metal collection. I decided to put God first. I am now sick with severe obsessive/compulsive disorder. Coincidence? Maybe. But I think that my activities did not help any. It was around that time that my OCD, depression, suicidal tendencies, etc all got worse. You are absolutely correct. Satan works into people's minds through many different things- some of which we ordinarily think of as being innocuous. Dungeons and dragons is an example. Have you seen that bizarre ad on 'answers' that offers free D&D games? What is up with that weird looking beast on the ad??? This is getting a little farther afield...but satan is working his way into our government (as if he weren't already there). The New World Order worship the devil. They and the Masons recruit young people. People get tied into occult and satanic activity, and they don't even know it is happening to them. As long as we allow the Holy Spirit into our hearts, satan cannot hurt us. We have to stand strong, and put on the armor of God. Thank you for being brave, and sharing this. God bless you!

16. I am so thankful that for some reason when I was a child I never wanted to dabble with anything like that. I think it is awesome you want people free. I pray God's protection over you. Fear Not Believe God
