Why do they say its bad to have your future read to you by a fortune teller ?

Well iwas in Downtown w| my friends one day & a lady came up to me passinq out flyers about her fortune tellinq shop & she told me im qonna live for a very lonq time ! So my mom found the paper & told me never to qo to a fortune teller that its bad ! but she never told me why -__- ! Does anyone kno why people think havinq your future read is bad ? but like iremember my mother told me once that way befor iwas born (im 15] some quy stopped her & her friend when they were walkinq one day & he told my moms friend that she was qoinq to have problems w| her boyfriend that they were qoinq to qet in a serious aqument & she was qoinq to move out & it really happened & he told my mother that she is qoinq to die when she is 4Oyrs old & shes 39 riqht now so like what if hes riqht ? cause he was riqht abt her friends fortune ! uhmmm Yeah ibelieve in God im just CURIOUS !

1. Well first of all fortune tellers are in it for the money and they really only tell you stuff in general and not anything specific. They are aware of human nature but then I do the same thing and people are amazed and how I know things.. but this isn't a special power you see patterns. People will do a lot of stupid things and do good things you just are more attune to the bad. Another problem is some people take everything a fortune teller says as totally real and if they tell you something bad is going to happen people freak out . .then they say for a few hundres or (even a thousand) dollars they will make the 'curse' go away. Everyone is going to die .. fortune tellers can't stop bad from happening. That 'long life' stuff is how they sucker you into their web.
2. fortune tellers just want money, every fortune teller or mediums goal is fame, fortune or so people like them, they may tell you something which could cause hysteria and may upset your family and/or friends, they will probably tell you that your family will die or something mad like that that will not happen , i would take her advice and not go, it will only end up worse for you, remember fortune tellers aren't trying to read your fortune for fun, its all for money. 3. Actually when a fortune teller tells your future; It messes up your destiny and fate. For example: A psychic reader can tell you "I see a bus...", " I see death on your card..." " Someone you know will die in or by a bus in your life time..." Ok, One day it's raining and you decide to catch the bus, but you take heed to what that psychic said. So, you decide to walk in the rain from work; You make it home safely. In reality, you just missed your true lover on that bus that you we're suppose to catch that day while headed home from work in the rain. See psychics, tell you what they want to tell you and they don't go into details with it...They leave you wondering. Now, for the rest of your life; You'll never catch a bus because you believed what that psychic told you. Two weeks later, someone you know dies in a bus accident, but not you. Death can mean new life; That new life was your soul-mate on that bus. Everything has a meaning; Every meaning means something for short.
4. You should have God in your life, not a fortune-teller. Plain & simple.

6. because odds are, they cant actually tell the future, its a scam. your wasting money and end up paranoid about things, like your moms friends might be freaked about about what the fortune teller said about her dying next year. fortune tellers and psychics are good at what they do, they study peoples facial expressions and look for tells so they can give a seemingly accurate fortune, when they are really just guessing. for example, what couple doesnt have problems? so he "predicted" shed get in a fight with her boyfriend, and it came true because every couple gets in fights, and just took the chance in guessing she would move out. they look for little tells, like of the persons wearing a wedding ring, they will say "i predict you will have struggles with your husband" and the person thinks, o my God, how did he know i have a husband, when the psychic is trained to know that kind of thing. they will say your having trouble with your husband, and the person frowns or looks upset, they know they are right and push on with that, and if they instead look confused or smile, then they know they guessed wrong and will say "wait no, its your father or brother" and just wait for the person to react. its bad because they are causing unnecessary worry and scamming you out of your money.
