Do I really have a love spell on me or is there a such thing?

well i live in ny and there are always loony fortune tellers on the street trying to get you to pay for a reading. and one day as me and my friend was on our way to McDonald's i bumped into this guy who stopped me and asked me did i just get out of a rocky relationship which i did and i said yes. he asked me another question which also made sense to me and agreed and he told me finally dat someone put a love spell on me and i needed to come with him so he could pray and light candles for me which i was i was all for until he started to tell me i needed a certain amount of money dat i didn't have i tipped him a dollar and walked away laughing with my friend. ever since i had dat encounter i couldn't help but wonder if what he said had any truth to it. i've been breaking up and making up with the same guy for 5 years and no matter how hard we tried we just couldn't get it together. and every time we broke up i never found anybody new even though he always did. im not an ugly girl and if i may say so myself im very charming. im single now and is having a hard time finding a mate. Should i look further into this or should i just forget about the whole situation and just wait until i find somebody for me?
