Mystical Angels

Is not Christianity a form of skepticism or antispirituality?

Since they don't have spiritual experiences, know anything about how the spirit world (astral realm) really works, meditate, or have open chakras or know anything about spiritual protection, what their soul looks like, spirit energy, ectoplasm, healing, or really anything at all when it comes to spirituality. Most Christians I have talked to are very skeptical about any spiritual phenomenon outside what the bible claims happened.

  1. no we have a spiritual experience with god jehovah and the holy spirit
  2. Meh. Some beliefs preclude other beliefs.
  3. Hey do not give our title to them Christians :P
  4. Everyone has their favorite blind spot.
  5. I'm sorry. I couldn't hear you criticizing nonsense with gibberish over the sound of my own laughter.
  6. whoa those are some gross simplifications you're casting out. and no it isn't a form of skepticism because it is completely based on faith. what do you think it means to believe a word? antispirituality? idk what you've been smokin but i've had experiences more mighty than my ability to arrange them, i've known peace, i know the route of angelic beings, i know where they come and go and why they come here. i daresay i am more spiritual than you. open your eyes because greater are those who are with us than with our enemies.
  7. Yes, it's not.
  8. Yeah all they do is read the bible and follow it I guess. =/ That's why I'm a Buddhist. "Since Buddhism generally does not believe in a personal God or a divine being, it does not have worship, praying, or praising of a divine being. Although these are practiced without any reference to God. It offers no form of redemption, forgiveness, heavenly hope, or final judgement. Buddhism is, more of a moral philosophy, an ethical way of life that can have improvement on ones state."
  9. You have never been to a charismatic baptist or a pentecostal church have you?
  10. You don't know what skepticism is do you?
  11. I thought it was a form of delusion.
  12. No, it is the narrow-mindedness of sorcerers that assumes this to be so. But they ignore the fact that we have the power to discern spirits, whether they be good or evil, through the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. The Holy Spirit provides more Light than you will ever imagine, because all things proceeded forth from God. The Spirit is sharper than a two edged sword, discerning even the thoughts of the heart.
  13. How many "christians" have you really talked to? I have to suggest you weren't talking to many, or have cracked a bible often yourself. I can't believe you talked to a spirtual christian who told you they didn't meditate, or at least that we should meditate for its advised to us by Jesus many times, maybe not in the same form as you do but meditate none the less. As far as healing goes are you cwazy man? Jesus is The Healer of the highest level..... He healed many many many folks in the Bible and there are thousands who could profess to have been a witness to or a recepiant of a miracle healing today and in fact I know of someone personally who received a miracle healing. If you are interested I accept e-mails. When you say they, or should I say we, don't believe in spirtiual protection thats almost funny because the Bible is plastered with examples of "spirtuial " protection, we just believe that God and Jesus are the ones who give it. Even people who haven't darkened the door step of a church once in their whole life will do some praying to you know who if given the right circumstances so what the heck are ya talking about? Now about this soul seeing....who cares what your soul looks like anyway and just between you and me if you think you know I'll bet the bank your wrong. When it comes to ectoplasm and spirit energy, at least as far as myself having a concrete idea of what it is, I know it "is". I have seen a ghost myself and have had too many "experiences" to not believe there are such things as "ghosts" and/or spirit energy. What exactly they or it are, like I said, I haven't been convinced one way or the other but I know they are something. This doesn't mess with my faith. All I need to know is how to get to heaven and live the best life I can, the other stuff I'll ask about when I have the chance. Demons are obvoius and something that can't be denied, the Bible brings them up so many many times so how would any christian deny they exist? Demons are worrisome with most doing their dirty work silently and subtly. Those are really the worse for they destroy our faith, our happiness and our lives while we are none the wiser. The ones who "haunt" are really a puzzle for they are throwing themselves in a postion to get spanked hard by a Bible thumping christian with the wisdom and faith that Jesus and he can't reside in the same place, this making Mr. Demon's days numbered before he'll be sent back to wents he came. Ghosts are interesting but nothing I can't live with so who cares? So to answer your question in a nut shell, no christianity is not a form of antispiritually, not by a long shot. You need to talk to a few more of "us"
