Mystical Angels

What are some mystical towns?

Maybe a town where a war took place or something. I want to know for my book. Somewhere where lots of supernatural happenings have occured. Small towns would be nice. Thank you One of my main characters is Irish, but it has to take place in the U.S. The main character is a Grogoch.

1. St. Augustine, Florida is haunted from some war in the 1500's (or maybe 1800's?). I've been there, it's definitely haunted.
2. The largest Mystical town is Tinseltown, or Hollywood.
3. Gettysburg, PA - lots of paranormal phenomena. There are museums in the city dedicated to exploring the happenings, as well as several organizations.
4. Vicksburg, Miss. has a large civil war battlefield there and many old homes said to have ghosts. Most towns up and down the Mississippi River are good starting points. New Orleans, Natchez, Memphis, etc. New Orleans is pretty much Ghost Central. The farther back in the bayou you go, the weirder it gets. It depends on your interests, really. Here in the deep south, we love our "haints", as the old folks used to call them. We practically bring 'em into the living room and show 'em off!
