How do you put tarot cards into catagories?

I bought a pack of tarot cards today and the person told me to shuffle them then look at each one to tell your future etc. 10 of them. So i did and i looked at the booklet to tell what they meant and i figured out that each roman numeral had one meaning but more then one card and the other cards didnt have the description in the booklet.....what do i do? also some of the cards have titles to them and the others dont, can somebody please help me???
