am i the only one that notices the weird similarites between 'Lost' and 'Supernatural'?

i know its weird but think about it After a white flash, Sam an Dean Winchesters found they'd been mysteriously removed from a dangerous appearance by Satan. Mark Pellegrino plays a powerful "Lost" character named Jacob -- who appears to be inhabiting a human body (and may have upgraded into Sayid's body?). The Winchesters have lots and lots of daddy issues. The "Lost" characters often encounter mystical symbols and a mysterious sequence of numbers, which may be connected to powerful forces. The Winchesters often encounter mystical symbols and use mysterious incantations to summon powerful forces. The demonic black smoke is frequent in most Supernatural episodes The mysterious black smoke is frequent in most Lost episodes I wonder if they are actually connected.

2. you have a point but it is merley coincidence, they are on different networks so they have nothing to do with eachother what so ever.
