Places you can buy tarot cards?

hi, im looking for a place i can buy tarot cards. can you buy it at just any book store, or do you have to look for a new age place? I wouldn't have a problem with the new age place if there were ANY near where i live. thanks

1. I know they have them at Barnes and Noble.
2. You can find tarot cards in most large bookshops ... larger branches of Waterstones, for example. Or on the internet!
3. Tarot cards are to the "standard" deck of 52 as chess is to shogi. They can be found in pretty much any game store, or other place were playing cards are sold. The if you get them at a new age place, they will be sold as fortune telling items and will be overpriced, really they are just an older form of the playing cards (french if I remember correctly, which I probably don't). You are also on the internet, shouldn't be hard to order a pack.
4. try online then. http://www.facade.com has a great selection of tarot cards. they offer free computer generated readings as well.
5. The Rider Waite deck is the best. The cards have lots of symbolism and color. Then go on to one of the other 'new age' decks, which are mostly based on the RW deck. Wikipedia has the cards in a large enough format to be down loaded and printed off, then glued onto card board for a last resort. I find the 22 major arcana to be interesting enough without involving the minor cards.

7. I have seen a few decks in some larger book stores like Waterstones..Sometimes you have to look really hard to find them as they don't have their own section... Pagandreams.co.uk is a good online shop that sells Tarot cards, as well as amazon.
