Like centaurs, unicorns, goblins, elves?

1. Dungeons and Dra- I mean..... Nothing. Those all originate from Greek and variants of Greek and Roman Mythology. Unicorns weren't very girly back then...
2. from all over the world, ancient people came up with a wealth of legends and creatures to go with them, no one knows for sure why they did this but others have said that creatures such as dragons originated from remains of dinosaurs and that ancient people came up with dragons, also as people started to explore and came into contact with other cultures there legends and mystical creatures would be exchanged as one race told there story's another the bottom line is no one can really know who or when these legend's started
