Chinese fortune telling question?

There is this tape my parents have and it suppose to be a record of my fortune telling or something. I remember it said something about the element wood. The wood element is bad for me and I remember the fortune teller said I should avoid things that associates with the element wood. If you know what I'm talking about what does it suppose to mean?

1. That you'll fall victim to a self-fulfilling prophecy should you ever go into a forest, go into construction of things such as homes, and decide to make furniture. My bet is, getting lost, falling off the roof, and accidentally hitting your thumb with a nail more than average.
