  11. Its not a famous place but where I grew up I lived by a woods and right in the middle was a huge oak tree (obviously been there for hundreds of years) I would sit by it all the time as the way it grew you could nestle in to the bark. I loved it there I went there if I had a problem or just needed to think, it made me feel safe and in a way I suppose it gave me some healing as I would always feel better. I live hundreds of miles away now but I think about that tree all the time and keep promising my self I will drive down and go to the tree, they can bury me under it if they like lol. I suppose all trees have this energy though but i have never felt it like I did at my oak tree x
  12. On top of Glastonbury Tor, with your back against the chapel wall, facing North.
  13. Dear Friend: I would never attempt to tear down what another person believes because it demeans all people involved. Having said that, let me tell you that I believe the most 'mystical' place I can be is on any hill side in the spring or fall. A soft breeze blowing in the fresh smell of the sea side. The question isn't so much the place that is mystical, it is the person who feels that 'mysticism' around them. Have you ever been reading a good book or even the newspaper? Perhaps you're having a good cuppa and the cat's asleep in the window. When suddenly a brief chill causes the little hairs on the back of your neck to stiff? At that moment, you are in the most mystical place on earth. We are taught in the Bible that we need to simply go into a closet (simply closing your mind off to what's around you) and pray and that He will meet you. That most mystical place, my friend, is within you.
  14. In the UK, a few years ago I was walking late through London and walked down an alley, Apothecary Street (I think) it had tremendous atmosphere. But hey! Guess what, it was redeveloped and is now a glorious post modern slab. Outside the UK, and the most atmospheric place I have visited is the mosque/cathedral (yes both!) in Cordoba in Spain.
  15. High moors above Rothbury and the Coquet Valley both in Northumberland I get a strong feeling of Deja VU and something just beyond my conscious perception yet I feel at peace there.
  16. The Tower of London has some pretty creepy vibes going around. On a lighter note, last time I was there, an American women was bragging quite loudly, about how psychic she was. When we reached the dungeons, she exclaimed "Oh dear, I sense a lot of unhappiness here" Glad we all didn't have to pay here $5 a minute for that gem.
  17. There are many mystical places in UK. The largely unknown and unseen massive stone circle on the top of Dartmoor is one such. I will not tell you exactly where this is but if you ever go there alone, you will have the eerie feeling that you are being watched. Yet you can see in all directions for miles and there's no one there and there is no cover for anyone to hide behind. Touch these ancient standing stones and feel the vibes. Weird.
  18. I found stonehenge to be one of the most magical places.also glastonbury is a really magical place, with a very powerful energy about it.and cornwall,Tintagel and Boscastle have a real amazing vibe.
  19. The top of snowdon (wales) clean clear and a view to die for (if its not top cloudy)
  20. Avebury for sure as its not so busy with foreign tourists as stonehenge so you can have a more peacefull experience.Try spending the night amongst the stones in summer-its magical!-in fact last time i went there was the winter solstice 2006 and it was a lovely clear cold night and walking around the stones after midnight we came across 2 seperate couples making love in the dark! A fertility ritual i suspect.
