Help with mystical creatures?

They're for my naNoWriMo story, I need to fill nine other creatures that are taking part in the quest, so can you start listing mystical creatures? I might combine a few and make up new ones :) I've already used mermaids, elves, and shape-shifters. Please no vampires, werewolves, or witches, thanks loads :)

3. Banshee --- There's a couple of different creatures you can get out of this, but I like the Irish derived one "Traditionally some Irish families had a banshee associated with them, and the banshee might make an appearance before a death in the family. The banshee is particularly well known for a mournful cry or wail by which this death is heralded. She is invariably dressed in white, with long fair hair which she brushes with a silver comb." I also think nymphs, serpents and phoenixes are interesting. Some of the more common ones: trolls. You know, Beautiful Nightmare slayed one of those. Its name was cullen4ever. There are also zombies, giants, gargoyles, cyclopes, centuars, etc.
