What does this love tarot reading mean?

I recently was dating someone, but ended partly to due with his career set backs and he wasn't ready to pursue a relationship. I recently got a tarot reading and after she looked at us as couple the following cards came up; 9 of cups, 3 of cups, 2 of cups, the sun card and ace of cups. I am not sure what other cards were in the spread because this was done over the phone, but she mentioned these cards and said a difficult cycle was coming to end and we would reconcile. Any thoughts?

Well, there were a lot of cups there! Cups represent emotions. Uhm, I don't remember exactly, but it all depends what the spread was, if there was a spread at all. The decline is obvious, and the Sun, I think, represents childishness or even childbirth, while the aces always mean a beginning. So, I guess, you'll have a kid.
Tarot cards and other methods of divination are only for the superstitious and gullible. If this reading was over the phone what evidence do you have she even turned the cards she claims over? Save your money next time. Ask advice from a friend. It will be more accurate since they know you.

Hey Dear, The cards you are mentioning are not bad at all for the relationships but after that maybe cards were not favorable.
