it's my favorite classic. Whenever I listen to it, I'm transferred to another place, a mystical place... Gustav Holst "The Planets" suite is awesome and another favorite classic that takes me away... Roy... I love Satie (Gymnopedies)

1. I love the French composer, Debussy. You might also like La Mer by Ravel. Debussy and Ravel are sometimes associated with each other. People call Debussy's type of music Impressionist just like the art of the French painters.
2. At last, someone here who likes proper music ;) If you like Holst you maybe would like his good friends , Ralph Vaughan-Williams and George Butterworth . Ravel has been mentioned (actually La Mer is by Debussy not Ravel! ), other French piano music to try in that genre would be Erik Satie and Charles Koechlin.
3. Clair de lune... the most beautiful, feminine song I've ever heard. I too love Clair de lune. If I ever marry, this will be the wedding march I'll use.
