Are we all a fractal of God?
What are the characteristics of a fractal? I did some research and the language is sometimes too complex for me to understand...can you explain it in a way that is easy to understand? My question has two parts I suppose, a scientific/mathematical part and a spiritual part. Feel free to answer one or both and any or all parts. Is the Self a fractal? Is self awareness the ________ needed to move consciousness up to the 'next' layer of a fractal? LOL is there a mind inside of my mind that knows what I am talking about because I don't. Asked another way...is the nature of growing our self awareness like a fractal? If this is true then we never have to worry about not being good enough, not being beautiful enough, not being lovable, etc because we are as we were created. We can never make a fatal error or sin. It is all an illusion...our awareness will shine a light on and we will move past. We will just keep expanding outward and inward with the same basic pattern...given to us by our creator...and God created us and I'd venture to guess God doesn't create anything less than miraculously beautiful. Did God create a separate fractal as each one of us or are we part of God's fractal? other ramblings...I think that we have to see our brothers and sisters as pure and beautiful as God sees us before a key is found to raising our awareness...we have to eliminate the desire to be 'specially loved' or at least 'especially loved' and based on my own experiences I feel like we have to search out parts of our self that we currently don't love and accept...and heal, and then our awareness is expanded. How does seeing our Self and our brothers and sisters as pure and loving/lovable...relate to a fractal of God if at all? I suppose that would explain how we are all one and the same...yet maybe we are only different depending upon the lens we are using?

- We sure Are Love~! You notice he used his Holy spirit or breath of life....(ie) his active force of life to create us. And God never drew it back. So we are a fraction of God as long as we breathe. Once we expire that .....Holy spirit ..... or force .... or flame of life..... goes back to Gods dynamic energy. Could you imagine a Crystal Fire of Dynamic Energy! {=>ж
- Her es a bowl of soup to munch on, enjoy. The Spirit engulf spirit (us) the whole of the awareness becomes open and visible to them who so look upon is there beloved self it’s self. The fractal in perspective is the meet in attention in His>his is in towards the divine of life of God and Word. The un separated divine unity starts in his and finish its way in him as the much-loved word manifested The living waters tell no lie in it.
- A fractal is a tendency for microscopic aspect of a thing to resemble the whole. There is a small piece of the cliff that resembles the entire cliff. A detailed breakdown in structure reveals a design of the entirety. A piece of a crystal or snowflake, the veins on the leaf of a tree, a cell of an organism resembles an organism itself, an atom resembles a solar system, are all examples of fractals. Humans are created in the likeness of God. Christians are part of Christ's physical body and the continuation of Christ in the world. Our solar system is an atom in God's body. Treekisser, you make the mistake of mixing concepts and ideas from different disciplines, beyond a mere analogy, to the point of altering the meaning of those concepts. Human beings grow and develop like a species evolves. But a species does not decompensate and regress to lower levels when faced with a crisis. The analogy ends. Self awareness is necessary to develop to an advanced area of growth, wisdom, enlightenment, self-actualization, but it is not a step on a latter, or a staircase. It is a fluid system where a person can be self actualized for a moment, and then step back into the angst of denial. A person reaches enlightenment in a moment, but does not stay in that moment. They are then more able to have those moments and share that experience with others. Humans do have to worry, and you need only watch the movie Natural Born Killers or read the life of Charles Manson to know that. Human beings can be spiritual reflections of the divine or an expression of the violent animal we evolved from in the Naked Ape. We can be a fractal of God or a fractal of Satan himself. It is up to us what we choose to be.
- I love the way you think. I found you some meaty tidbits on the subject. http://www.crystalinks.com/fractal.html
