what are some of the supernatural powers that you can acquire through Taoist Mystical practices?

I am just curious, do these abilities have to do with the psyche or are they physical? I have heard that physical flight and the ability to appear places by willpower are a couple. Is this true? Master Li, the head of Falun Gong has claims of being able to speak with extraterrestrials who are fighting over whether or not to "harvest" humanity, along with being able to fly and appear anywhere he wants in an instant. And those are just the simplest of his abilities supposedly. Please do not answer if you are just going to ask for proof or ridicule the question. 2. I didn't see any of the things you claim in the description of falun gong but that does not mean it isn't there somewhere because I just did a quick search on it. Some of this sounds like astral projection. I don't see any difference in some of these beliefs and practices than the monks that can raise their body temperatures enough to melt snow and ice. Not many people in the U.S. (and I'm sure other countries) have the luxury of the amount of time required to become adept at many mystical practices.
3. Hi Moss, Taoist inner mystical practices are to attain the ultimate convergence in oneself, the highest prize possible in life. During the process all of the hidden layers of consciousness and energy that contain our primal powers are revealed and the consciousness can enter every dimension of itself, it also frees it from reacting to violent emotions and sensations from the deepest, darkest layers of the psyche and so when all of the hidden content of the layers of consciousness and all of the intoxicating and negative energy they contain are encountered, it is not overwhelmed by any of it. Instead it is at the centre of the cyclone, witnessing all conscious, subconscious and unconscious phenomena whirling about, without interfering with it, judging it or being affected by any of it and this truly is supernatural power if you compare it with the capabilities of the normal conditioned mindset. But if it is compared with unconditioned consciousness it is not at all supernatural. The main thing is to remember is that if you do not have a body that is a powerful, sensitive, responsive instrument, you are simply not attuned, or able to attune to subtle energies. People who make claims about supernatural power must be put to the test; all of the people who practice with Yu Jin Li have inner mystical experiences – physically, energetically and at the level of the mind, because matter, energy and intelligence are not separate. If people did not have these experiences directly, they would not work with him. Many adepts have asked him about the supernatural claims of others and he has always said that if claims are made about supernatural power, test them out. I can tell you from my own direct experience that people test Yu Jin Li out and when we do dual cultivation sessions with him and Buddha-mind Buddha-palm, he physically moves energy in us and when we sit silently with him we are merged into a completely different dimension of consciousness and energy. Yu Jin Li has had close association with Yellow Hat sect Tibetan mystics when he was a monk and their whole goal and their whole practice is to develop supernatural powers. There is a book that you must download called Beyond the Himalayas, by Murdo MacDonald Bayne; it documents everything you could want to know on supernatural powers from his firsthand experience. It is a very old book, but the practitioners in it are known to Yu Jin Li, because it is this sect that he has worked directly with. Nirvana
