Christian Faith and Spiritualism?

I have been reading that in the Christian Faith, that Spiritualism and Spiritual Healing is classed as demonic activity which can cause one to become dangerously exposed to Satan. Many years back. I underwent major surgery for a condition which took a long time to recover from; along with much discomfort included. The doctors prescribed a drug which was having a bad effect on me, yet it was only when I was taken to a Spiritualist Church one Sunday, that I received a message from my Grandmother; who passed away a long time before, to go back to my Doctor and find out the long term effects of this drug? I did so, only to find that over a long term basis, which I was being prescribed, it would possibly destroy my liver or even kill me. I had the prescription changed to find my recovery from the operation became more effective and speedy. At a much later date, I was in great discomfort and pain from this condition, again I was referred to the Spiritualist Church and their Healing, whereby, after a prayer to the Lord above, the Healer placed their hand over the affected area and the pain and discomfort stopped, from which it never returned in it's severity again. Much later on, my young Niece who is staying with us, had a serious Heart condition and was awaiting open heart surgery. At one stage, her condition and strength became so low, I was desperately concerned for her safety that I took her to the Spiritual Healer and later even her own Doctor was amazed at her sudden improvement whilst she still awaited surgery. My long awaited question is. With the true evidence I have given above, can somebody out there please indicate to me where the Satanic or Demonic activity apply?

  1. "With the true evidence I have given above, can somebody out there please indicate to me where the Satanic or Demonic activity apply?" See, the problem is that you haven't given ANY evidence, true or otherwise. You've given us an anecdote. That's not evidence. Evidence can be verified or corroborated. This fairy tale you've given us is based on your word and your word alone. NOT acceptable and HIGHLY suspect. Please learn the difference between "evidence" and "anecdote". Seems most of you theists confuse the two constantly.
  2. Because That would be a form Of Witchcraft
  3. satan is meant to be the evilest guy ever and demons are know to cause pain wiccan people have been healers throughout history even if people sometimes picture wiccans as bad we are really just natural and spiritual healers some witches have been known to actually have power to heal people think we are bad because of the the salem witch trials and because of the fake way they are portrayed in stories like hansel and gretal but in the end we are just misunderstood and with the witch trials why would them crazy people want to kill people who heal they are the works of evil.
  4. Jesus never partially healed. Jesus completely healed. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. Satan will twist the words of Scripture for his benefit. Satan would only use his great knowledge to heal the discomfort of someone if he could fool them later. As long as the Spirtualist healer is praying to the Lord Jesus and not lord Satan then demonic activity does not apply. Satan's crew is very intelligent and they have been around for thousands of years.
  5. the bible is movtive is to take away all spiritual and occult knowledge they made satan and the demons into monsters to make people fear them when in reality they are not mosters they are beautiful beings!
  6. Your father may tell you not to steal. However there may come a time in your life that you were so desperate and hungry that you may be tempted to steal from someone who has a lot. You do not feel hungry any more, however you are still a thief and have done wrong (even if you were hungry). Therefore it is OK and justifiable to steal and not listen to your father? Or could there have been another choice you could have made? Is the evidence that you father was wrong and stealing has to be good, because it can serve a need? God has told us not to communicate with dead spirits and unknown spirits. However there may come a time in our lives when we are so desperate, that we are tempted to seek these spirits if we believe they can give us answers/help. You may get some comfort from them at the time, however you will also be opening yourself up to a spiritual realm that is not of God. It may feel good at the time, however you have still done wrong by exposing your spirit (even if you were desperate). Therefore is it OK to seek help from dead spirits and unknown spirits (demons) and disobey God. Or could there have been another choice you could have made? Is the evidence that God is wrong, and spiritualism has to be good because seeking dead spirits has served your need? Jesus said that Satan (The father and Lord of those who choose to follow him) is a plausible and deceitful liar and masquerades as an angel of light. (He is very persuasive and extremely convincing)! Jesus also warned us that Satan would deceive even the elect if he could. This means that ANYONE can fall for his tricks. Life is all about choice, we can choose to listen and obey God, or to reject and to disobey Him. Finally, I believe everything you have said above and completely understand your motives and why you did it. I am definitely not judging you, just offering my opinion based upon personal experience and what God says about these things.
