Questions about a mystical symbol?
I have a pendant with a seven-pointed star. I got this pendant a long time ago from a new age gift shop. The points of the star are evenly spread. One of the points go straight up, and two of them point down. I did some research. One source said it is the Star of Babalon. Another says it's the Elfen Star. What can you guys tell me? Your expertise is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Many Blessings, BGJR.

- It's actually symbolizes the thought circuitry of those with their third eye open (the Fifth Dimension of thought) but I doubt you'll find that anywhere in writing.

- it has hundreds of uses in different cultures and beliefs, but the most recent development is the symbol that belongs to witchcraft, or the darker form of it. contrary to most beliefs, witchcraft evolved from no earth energy manipulators, but from dark magic, which is what all magic is. a square was formed to cast a powerful or evil spell. a triangle was formed to summon a evil spirit. then they had an idea; they would combine the two symbols into the most powerful seal: the five pointed star. one pointing up, two point down, two pointing to two different sides. squares and triangles are no longer used, and the five pointed star is now used instead, as it can do both things. its two, thats right, two seals and uses in one! but wait, theres more.......! well, you get the picture.
- The seven pointed star, or septagram, is important to both the kabbalah and wiccan traditions. According to the kabbalah, it represents the seven days of the week, the first seven planets discovered, and the seven alchemical symbols...
