Need some questions answered on spirituality and health care from different religions.?
I am doing an essay and need some insight from different religions. I need the following questions answered. Just like your doing an interview. I don't know too many religious people and need the help. Thanks!! a) What is your spiritual perspective on healing? b) What are the critical components of healing, such as prayer, meditation, belief, etc? c) What is important to people of a particular faith when cared for by health care providers whose spiritual beliefs differ from their own? d) How do patients view health care providers who are able to let go of their own beliefs in the interest of the beliefs and practices of the patient?

- SILENCE HEALS.
- a) Does not exist. While there is much of medicine that is understood there are parts where we can see and effect, but not explain it. Positive attitude and meditation does have a real effect on healing. Also placebos are effective about 20% of the time, which is why all scientific drug studies include double blind testing with the drug and with a placebo. b) Seeing your doctor. You can try praying that the six inch cut in your arm will heal all by itself, but visiting the ER and getting stitches, antibiotics, etc. is going to be much more effective. c) That is up to the individual and the dictates of their faith. d) That is up to the individual patient and the dictates of their faith.
